Dr. Art Murray

Dr. Art Murray is CEO of Applied Knowledge Sciences, Inc., and First Fellow and Co-Director of the Enterprise of the Future program at the International Institute for Knowledge and Innovation.  Over his 30-year teaching and consulting career, he has helped hundreds of organizations transfer knowledge from senior experts to mid-level and incoming workforces.  He has personally advised government executives around the world in ministries of defense, law enforcement, higher education, public health and whole-of-government in making the transition to a knowledge-based economy.  He is a member of the advisory boards of numerous international corporations and non-profit organizations in the fields of science, integrative medicine and organizational learning.  He is a keynote speaker, a member of the Global Speakers Federation, an editorial board member and reviewer for scientific journals and trade publications.  He holds a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, and M.E.A. and Doctor of Science Degrees in Engineering Administration from The George Washington University. Prof. Paul S. Prueitt

Professor Paul Prueitt has taught mathematics, physics and computer science courses in community colleges, universities, and four-year colleges.  He has served as Research Professor in Physics at Georgetown University and Research Professor of Computer Science at George Washington University.  He has served as Associate Professor or Assistant Professor of Mathematics at HBCUs in Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia.  Prueitt was co-director of an international research center at Georgetown University (1991-1994).  He is a NSF reviewer and Principle Investigator.  He served for over a decade as an independent consultant focused on information infrastructure, software platforms and intelligence algorithms.  He has consulted on national intelligence software platforms and continues this work under private contracts. His post-Master's training in pure and applied mathematics focused on real analysis, topology and numerical analysis.  His PhD, earned in 1988 from The University of Texas at Arlington, was developed using differential and difference equations as models of neural and immunological function. He has over forty-five publications in journals, books or as conference papers. Motivated by a desire to understand the nature of the American educational crisis, he served for seven years at Historical Black Colleges and Universities, including an open door minority serving institution.  He currently teaches mathematics learning support courses using deep learning methods to bring mathematics students to a college level understanding. The method is motivated from a study of behavioral neuroscience and properties of immune response mechanisms.

Dr. John Lewis

Dr. John Lewis is a speaker, business consultant, and part-time professor on the topics of organizational learning, thought leadership, and knowledge & innovation management.  John is a co-founder of The CoHero Institute, creating collaborative leadership in learning organizations.  He is a proven leader with business results, and was acknowledged by Gartner with an industry “Best Practice” paper for an innovative knowledge management implementation for one of the top ten banks in the US.  John is an associate editor for the Journal of Innovation Management, and is the author of the book, The Explanation Age, which Kirkus Reviews described as “An iconoclast’s blueprint for a new era of innovation.”  John holds a Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California, with a dissertation focus on mental models and decision making.  He is a scholar-practitioner, maintaining academic connections and publishing groundbreaking models in the fields of knowledge, learning, and leadership, while working within industry at various companies including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Capital One Financial.  John was recently the keynote speaker at the International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research Studies, in Washington D.C.  He can be reached at john@cohero-institute.com.

Dr. Saleh Osman

Dr. Saleh has always been at the forefront of emerging socio-economic trends at the national and global level, serving as strategic advisor to governments making the transition to knowledge-based economies.  His primary area of research focuses on measuring the long-term socio- economic impact of human capital development on national and regional economies.  He specializes in the development and application of the latest data analysis tools and techniques, including big data, text mining, and knowledge-based data analytics.  He extensive knowledge and experience gained from working in culturally diverse settings has given him the unique ability to blend cultural awareness with predictive data modeling, data mining, econometric/macroeconomic modeling and system dynamics in order to better inform public policy planning and defcision- making.  He holds the Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Economics from Howard University.

Ken Wheaton

Ken has over twenty years’ experience in helping public and private organizations organize  and manage their critical information and knowledge resources.  His specialties include  knowledge management, project management, business process improvement, A-3  problem- solving, Toyota Production System, talent management, change management,  strategic planning, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, value stream mapping and other visualization  techniques.  His many accomplishments include transforming a traditional corporate  library into a center of excellence for enterprise knowledge-sharing, leading the formation  of cross-functional teams, and designing and implementing award-winning SharePoint sites  for knowledge sharing and collaboration.  He holds the master’s degree in Library and  Information Science from the University of Wisconsin, and a B.S. in Biochemistry and  Molecular Biology from Western Michigan University.
